The Relationship between Gratification of Internet Usage and Negative Behavior among Youth in Malaysia

Youth are significant consumers of internet technologies. Sometimes, adolescents directly involved in problematic usage, such as online gambling and pornography. They indirectly exposed to some negative behavior, alcohol drug addiction, social isolation. This study aims identify the relationship between six factors behavior gratification using among 440 Malaysian youth by collecting data via survey. The theory applied is uses (U&G). results revealed no meaningful pornography, gambling, alcohol, usage. However, there was a positive use, isolation, addiction.
